Yesterday I went to ACMI to see the Game Master Exhibition. It was very inspiring and creative to have a look and review the history of Games Development and be able to play the most recent and new games, also the favorites ones.
We had a look at the marbellous Arcade Heroes ones, which appeared in the 1970s and play the grate Missile Command, Pac-Man, Asteroids and Robotron.
I also had an incredible time when I found 'Grim Fandango', and had a great look at very amazing and incredible games such as 'Ico', 'Shadows of the Colossus', 'Sim City', 'Psychonouts'.
It was also very exciting to see videos and interviews of the most recognized GamesCreators such as Jonathan Blow, Capy, Eric Chahi, Jakub Dvorsky, Firemint, Halfbrick, Masaya Matsuura, Eric Svedang, Will Wright, Fumito Ueda, etc.
There was a long cue to play the kinect Game 'Battle of Dancing' and very fun to see people trying their best.
Amanita Group was there as well, with games such as 'Machinarium' or 'Botanica'. I also found some games such as 'Journey' (by Jenova Chen) which I fell in love because of its poetical graphics and story. Very exciting afternoon and very useful in terms of learning and acquiring knowledge, ideas and inspiration.
